San Francisco is one of those rare cities that offers almost timeless appeal. One of the greatest things that can be said about this great city is that the things that attract its youngest visitors are also quite often the things that bring in its older visitors.
In fact, the very museums that fascinate youngsters have lessons to teach their older visitors as well. Art is a common language among us all and the entertainment that can be found in this great city from opera, symphonies, concerts, plays, and musicals, to street entertainment are both top notch and appealing to people from all sorts of backgrounds and circumstances.
The diversity of this great city is as much a part of its appeal as are the attractions that are designed to bring in visitors. Perhaps one of the most attractive draws to this city for older audiences is the significant history of this city and its people. There are many places-museums and galleries, where you can learn about the history and tragedies that this city has endured, overcome, and now celebrate as part of its heritage.
The cultural diversity that this city offers is also a large draw to older populations. From the Asian history and culture, to the Latin history and culture, to the African American this city celebrates it all. I think that is my favorite thing about this city. It celebrates the good and the bad of its history side by side. Not many places on earth can do that, much less do it as effectively as San Francisco does.
In addition to all of these things, which are quite appealing in and of themselves, San Francisco has the trolley tours, Alcatraz Island tours, the Presidio, The conservatory of flowers at Golden Gate Park, Wine Tasting and winery tours, concerts and cultural events, plays and musicals, as well as Thoroughbred racing at Golden Gate Fields.

There are so many activities that are available in San Francisco that it is quite difficult to narrow them down to what you can actually do in the span of a few days. If you want to feel young again take a tour of Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf. Try taking a tour of Filoli Estates in order to see how the other half live. If you are feeling particularly playful head out for a day at the Exploratorium, this great place isn’t only for kids.
You can also take a tour of Hearst Castle. This castle was the dream home of William Randolph Hearst, and whose dream wouldn’t it be? With 165 rooms and 127 acres to explore this tour could be an excellent way to spend the day. One feature of the tour that will be sure to please is the film “Hearst Castle-Building the Dream” that tells a little more about the man and his castle.

Another really neat attraction for more mature audiences is the Old Faithful Geyser of California. This is a little off the beaten path as it is located around an hour and a half north of the city but if you like nature and serenity it is worth a detour.
If you like nature you may want to try one of the train tours offered by Roaring Camp Railroads, or both. There are two different tours offered you will want to be sure to check for times. Also keep in mind that during the month of December there is a special Holiday Train Lights Train and reservations must be made in advance for that special ride.
As I was saying, there is a little something for everyone in the great city of San Francisco and just because something appeals to a much younger crowd, in no way indicates that it can’t appeal just as well to an older or young again crowd. I remember some of the things that fascinated me most as a child still spark those feelings of happiness and joy (we won’t say how many) years later. The important thing is to choose the activities that appeal most to you and try to enjoy yourself as much as possible. It shouldn’t be too hard!

Along with the beaches La Jolla gives the San Diego area, it also has some very nice caves. The caves of La Jolla are great for tours, exploring, or anyone wanting to see the best of La Jolla.
Carved into the sandstone cliffs of La Jolla, there are seven caves. Most of the time, you can visit any seven of these caves by sea kayak. Although all but one are accessible by foot, you should be very carefully when minus tides sweep the area.
The Sunny Jim Cave is one of the most popular and well known caves of La Jolla. You can enter through the Cave Store by paying a small fee. There are 145 steep steps to get through the cave, which is great for exploring and seeing the area.
The cave store can tell you many things about the caves, including tours. If you plan to visit the La Jolla area of San Diego, the caves can be a great place to explore. Those of you who have kids coming along for the trip, should remember to be very careful - as the caves provide a lot of beauty -they can also provide a lot of danger as well.

Men around America dream of having the quintessential Vegas bachelor party-there are few men who manage but many who share the common dream. The good news is that girls today are demanding equal rights as far as fantasies go and have decided that what is good for the goose is good as well for the gander. In other words more and more women are also deciding to hold their bachelorette parties in Las Vegas as well. This is really good news for Las Vegas as this process is bringing almost as much money and as many guests as the weddings have in the past. Not quite as much but it’s a pretty good share of both and a great boon to the economy.
There are even services cropping up all over Las Vegas that provide services, decorations, planning, hosting, and the execution of these events for brides and grooms to be alike. Remember, “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” and this is the one last hoorah before you take that long walk down the aisle. The most important thing to remember is that most of these parties are all in good fun and really leave nothing to tell.
The most important aspect of bachelor or bachelorette parties for most is that one last night of getting together with old friends, making new acquaintances, and cutting ties with the single lives you are preparing to leave behind. Whether you are just getting together with friends for drinks or heading off to visit all the strip clubs along the strip for one last time it is safe to say that Vegas knows how to throw a bachelor party.
One of the most important things to remember about your bachelor or bachelorette party in Las Vegas is that you should probably book your room before you go out partying so that you are certain you have a place to stay when all is said and done. It’s always a good idea not to stray too far from your room if you’re going to be drinking and having fun but this is a once in a lifetime kind of event so it’s forgivable as long as you aren’t driving, if you have a little too much to drink. Just make sure that you are able to find your clothes, the ring, and a quick shower the next morning.
Some of the parties that are the most fun do not involve leaving the room or suite that you book. You can almost always find strippers that specialize in bachelor parties and will be willing to come to you rather than going from club to club to club. Unless of course you are hoping to experience a little more variety among girls than hiring one or two would provide.
When you think about it, Las Vegas really is the perfect city for a bachelor party. You are in close proximity to drinking, gambling, girls, sex, and lots of ribbing from the guys. If you really are a great best man or maid of honor you will have put a lot of thought into what will be done during the bachelor party. Of course, the idea is to send your best friend off into wedded bliss with one last night to remember. It doesn’t have to include girls, who’s kidding, of course it does. The thing to remember is that it’s the best man’s job to make sure there is no evidence of impropriety.
Make sure you’re all having a great night, you’re all safe and sound, and that your friend makes it to the chapel on time tomorrow and you might all survive the bachelor party experience. Las Vegas will always be the ideal place to go for brides and grooms alike as they face their upcoming vows and gather with friends as single men and women one last time. While there is something somewhat sad about the process there is also something wonderful about the upcoming future and bright possibilities that lie ahead.

The black sand of Hamoa Beach is one of the best beaches on Maui. The water isn’t too rough, there are no rocks in the surf, the crowds are minimal, and the nearby scenery is amazing. For a beach vacation, Hamoa Beach is tough to beat.
Hamoa Beach is about a five to ten minute drive from the town of Hana. The drive is easy to make, with lots of great scenery along the way. There isn’t a parking lot, so you’ll need to park on the side of the road and walk down the steps to the beach. Parking isn’t normally a problem because the beach is never crowded.
There is a beach hut
on Hamoa Beach that rents body boards, snorkeling equipment, and even gives out towels to guests of the Hotel Hana Maui. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas that are for guests only.
Unless you are a guest and want a chair, the best spot on Hamoa Beach is on a big towel right in the center of the black sand. There’s plenty of shade on the beach, so you won’t have any trouble getting out of the sun when you have had your fill of it.
The water at the beach isn’t rough and there are no rocks to cut you as you swim. The waves here can get quite large, although they are easier to swim in than other beaches on the island.
Hamoa Beach is an excellent beach vacation spot, offering something for the entire family. There is always something going on here, no matter what time of year you visit. For a beach vacation that never lets up - Hamoa Beach is where you need to be.

If you are like most other American families, you and your family may be taking a summer vacation this year. If you are planning a summer vacation, have you already selected a summer vacation destination? If you have yet to decide where you and your family will vacation, you are encouraged to consider the family fun that you and your family can have in St. Thomas.
St. Thomas is most known for its tropical whether. St. Thomas is located in the Virgin Islands. Many individuals mistakenly believe that St. Thomas, and other islands located in Caribbean, are only for couples looking to schedule a romantic vacation. St. Thomas is known for its romantic environment and atmosphere; however, the island is not just limited to those looking to experience a romantic getaway. In fact, there are a number of “family friendly,” activities that you and your children may find exciting.
When visiting St. Thomas, you will have to make overnight accommodations for the length of your trip. In St. Thomas, these accommodations are most often made at a resort. The good news for families is that there are a number of popular vacation resorts that are designed with adults and children in mind. The resorts are often referred to as “family friendly,” resorts.
The activities and events that can be found on a “family friendly,” resort will vary. Different St. Thomas resorts offer different onsite activities, facilities, and services. Despite the fact that no two resorts are the same, there are a number of common activities that you may find available at most “family friendly,” St. Thomas resorts. These activities may include, but should not be limited to, swimming, boating, fishing, sunbathing, and playing outdoor sports.
In addition to the above mentioned activities, many “family friendly,” resorts offer kid’s clubs or onsite childcare centers. You and your children may find these facilities beneficial, in more ways than one. If you are looking to receive a few private minutes with your spouse or you would like to spend time alone relaxing by the beach, you can easily drop your child off at an onsite childcare center. While onsite childcare centers are nice, not all St. Thomas resorts have them. If you need childcare, you will want to search for a resort that offers the service onsite.
St. Thomas resorts are not the only locations in St. Thomas that can be considered “family friendly.” If you and your family wish to shop, dine, and sightsee, you can easily do so. Along the shoreline and inland there are a number of restaurants, shopping centers, and historical landmarks that have a focus on families.
While shopping, sightseeing, and dinning is important, there are additional activities that you and your family may enjoy. St. Thomas has a number of different museums. If you are interested in incorporating education into your vacation, you can easily do so. In addition to inland museums, St. Thomas is also famous for its focus on underwater discoveries. You and your children may find it exciting to learn about the animals, plants, and treasures that can be found deep down in the ocean.
With a small amount of research and planning, you can easily schedule a St. Thomas vacation. With an unlimited number of cool activities, services, and facilities available, a St. Thomas vacation is likely to please everyone in your family.
